Mwaungulu vs Wanderers

He is never shy on big stages, already in this new campaign he has stepped up for The People’s Team in the most famous Blantyre derby. With his weaker left foot, Mwaungulu made a fine finish past Richard Chipuwa getting Maule level against their fiercest cross-town rivals Mighty Mukuru Wanderers. The swiftness and the composure make this strike big in every way.

Mwaungulu vs Mafco

The dead-ball specialist offered yet another masterpiece. This time in a tightly contested match away at Mafco in Chitowe. Trailing by a goal and the clock running down quickly, we had to turn to our little magician. Facing a well-positioned human wall, Mwaungulu showed great skill to execute a clean free-kick. A beautiful strike in a big TNM Super League match that ended all square at 1-1.

Mwaungulu vs Mzuzu City Hammers

Tell us what he hasn’t done with the dead-ball, we will wait. Just when it was beginning to look like it wasn’t his day, the young creative stunned the Kamuzu Stadium with some wizardly when he curved a corner-kick direct into the far post of the net to secure Maule a 2-0 win over Hammers. Such strikes are common in football but only in its legends and classics.

Gumbo vs Mzuzu City Hammers

The goal is more about the perfection of a run, the move-reading, and the telling touch to guide the ball into the net. Gumbo displayed these qualities when he tapped in a sweet cut-back from Lanjesi Nkhoma to open scoring against Mzuzu City Hammers at the Kamuzu Stadium. Mwaungulu went on to seal the win scoring the second and last of the match but Gumbo’s strike set the tone in some fashion.
