Fixture Update: Bullets’ revised first round schedule confirmed

The Super League of Malawi (SULOM) has released a revised schedule for the remaining first and second round fixtures of the 2025 TNM Super League season.

For FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, the adjustment affects several matches, beginning with the originally scheduled trip to face Blue Eagles on 22 June at Nankhaka Stadium. That fixture has now been postponed due to The People’s Team’s Airtel Top 8 semifinal encounter against Karonga United, which will be played on the same weekend on 21 June at the Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.

After that Cup tie, Bullets will return to league action with a home match against Moyale Barracks at Kamuzu Stadium on Wednesday, 25 June. The Lions of Kaning’ina will be our first TNM Super League visitors to Blantyre since the resumption of the campaign following the international break.

On 29 June, the team will once again be on the road for a special fixture—the FCB 30 Years Trophy match against Silver Strikers at the Bingu National Stadium. The match has been added to commemorate the 30-year anniversary of First Capital Bank, the Club’s principal sponsor. Bullets had no league match initially set for that weekend, as it was anticipated we might have reached the Airtel Top 8 final, which has now been pushed to 12 July.

Next, Peter Mponda’s side will take on Ekhaya FC at Kamuzu Stadium on 2 July. Originally set for 13 July, the fixture has been moved up as part of the league’s reshuffle. This will be followed by a trip to Lilongwe to face Civil Service United on 7 July.

The previously postponed fixture against Blue Eagles has now been rescheduled to 20 July, but this time The Cops will travel to Blantyre for the clash at Kamuzu Stadium.

On 26 July, The People’s Team will make the long journey to Rumphi to face Mzuzu City Hammers, a fixture that was initially set to conclude the first round on 31 July. Bullets were also scheduled to host Karonga United on 27 July, but due to the updated calendar, that match will now serve as the final match of the first round.

We’ll then head to Champions Stadium to face MAFCO FC on 2 August before wrapping up the first round with a home tie against Karonga United at Kamuzu Stadium on 10 August.

According to SULOM, all fixtures remain subject to change as per the rules and regulations of the competition.

The second round of the 2025 season is scheduled to kick off on 30 August, with Bullets starting the campaign at home against Mzuzu City Hammers.
